Pushrod & Guide-Plate Kit, Fits: Big Block Chevy Mark IV w/ Flat Tappets

Kit includes: 16- 3/8" Pushrods (8 Intake & 8 Exhaust) and 8- 3/8" Guide Plates.

We offer this kit for those who have small 5/16" diameter pushrods and guide plates in their Mark IV Big Block Chevy.

(Not for engines with Hyd Roller lifters)

GM used small pushrods in some of their big block engines. If you have one of them, get rid of those little pushrods as they are known to create problems.

Almost every small pushrod BBC engine we see, arrive with a few bent pushrods.

The Big Block Chevy valve train is heavy and needs strong pushrods.

Bent pushrods create lifter noise which comes and goes even after re-adjustment. Frustrating to many BBC owners, lifter noise which won't go away and other undesirable characteristics can be avoided by installing stronger 3/8" pushrods.

Don't take chances with your Big Block Chevy upgrade to 3/8".
