Valve Spring ID Locators for LS w/ Dual Spring

LS Series Chevrolet / GM engines using dual springs.

These ID Locators are Machined from Chrome Moly Steel bar stock then properly Heat Treated to resist wear.

Unlike cups which hold the spring from the outside diameter of the outer spring, ID locators hold the spring using the inside diameter of the inner spring.

Since ID locators have a smaller outside diameter, they are normally used in applications where cups are too large to fit the spring pad.

Most LS series engines don’t have enough room for cups hence the need for locators.

This size is for OE and select aftermarket heads with .500” OD valve guides.

Some aftermarket LS series heads have .562" guides and use a different size locator which we carry in another listing.
