New 1.260" Diameter Circle Track, Race or Hot Street Valve Springs

Drop in type SBC Hi Lift Valve Springs, Circle Track

Replaces OE Race Saver Springs


These drop in springs were manufactured for use with Race Saver 305 spec engines.

Manufactured in the USA by Peterson Spring.

These springs are direct RS replacements with the proper loads and markings; each spring has the correct red paint stripe from the manufacturer.

Since Peterson was the original supplier to the cam company who supplies springs to the folks who assemble and sell race saver 305 circle track heads, those who need springs can be assured they're going to get the correct spec'd springs by ordering a set of these from us.

No need to pay more for springs which belong to a class where costs are supposed to be "affordable".

  • Outside Diameter- 1.260"
  • Inside Diameter- .874"
  • Wire Diameter- .193"
  • Free Length- Average of 2.100"
  • ID is chamfered to clear radius on retainer
  • Seat Load- 118 Lbs @ 1.800" (Maximum seat load allowed for RS is 120 Lbs) [For 118/120 Lbs seat, use the spec sheet included with kit]
  • Open Loads- 348-352 Lbs @.500" Lift (Maximum allowed by RS is 355 Lbs)
  • Manufacturers Advertised Spring Rate- 470#
  • Max Coil Bind- 1.048"
  • Manufactured using clean high grade material, proper heat treatment and shot peening is used to improve durability and longevity.
  • Can also be used for other circle track or hot street engines in need of a stock ID spring.
  • Installed heights can be changed to produce desired seat pressures.
