Product Description

SBC Iron Head
Hardened Valve Spring Shims- .015" Thick
 
1.250" X .812", Set of sixteen, use on iron SBC heads w/ springs which have dampers.
 

     Fitment-

  • SBC Iron Head- 1955-92 w/ Flat Tappet (will not fit iron vortec)
  • SBC iron heads w/ damper type springs
  • Select Other Engines, review sizes

Our Hardened shims will resist wear many times better then conventional valve spring shims.
Use directly under Hi Performance valve springs.
 
  Will reduce spring installed height by .015".

      Specs:

  • 1.250" Outside Diameter 
  • .812" Inside Diameter
  • .015" Thick
  • Color- either bluish or black
 
Also available in .030" and .060". Check the shim category for other sizes.
Hardened shims come in either all black or bluish color. We will send which ever we currently have in stock.
Either from Pioneer- (blue) or Alex's Private Label- (black)
