Drop in Spring kit for up to: .500" Lift, Turbo
Application: SB Ford w/ GT40 Heads
Since it's initial 2006 release, our drop in SB Ford spring kits have been a smashing success. Over the past few years, we've noted an increasing number of customers interested in a spring kit for lower lift applications, some running low lift cams as well as the stock HO camshaft.
Works for low cam lifts- Between .440"-.500"
This is also a good spring to use when running the stock HO cam with a turbo. (6-10 Lbs boost ok)
Heavy Duty Spring w/ damper fits the stock GT40 spring base perfectly.
As with our other GT40 kits, this one works with the stock staggered tip length configuration.
Comes with Springs, Chrome Moly steel retainers and hardened locks. Retainers and/or locks are marked for Intake and Exhaust positions.
Fits factory iron GT40 heads without the need for machine work. Just set up the installed heights and assemble.
This kit requires shims to establish target installed heights. (use check box towards top of page)
For those running aftermarket valves w/ .393" tip lengths on both, intake and exhaust can select the .393"/.393" option.

Requirements: As with any aftermarket performance spring kit, proper installation requires measuring the installed heights and adding shims as needed to obtain the target installed height as shown on the spec card included with your specific kit.

Please note the Viton seals we carry are the absolute best SB Ford seals available today. They have a ribbed ID which improves ease of installation which also seals better around the guide ID.
